Seems we are all so sad at this rubbish news and I'm close to tears reading all these tributes on here.

My sister Kathy (also gone now) lived in New York City and was at a party once and he walked in. Once he realised she was English, he talked to her for ages. She said it was the only time she was ever starstruck. I was so envious.

Man oh man, I am so so sad at this news. Rest in peace great man and thank you so much for the music. xxx

He made 'Heroes'. A lot of Bowie does nothing for me but 'Heroes' is one of THE most perfect things in music ever (thanks to Robert Fripp too). Very sad news.
