Thanks for the tips SB. I'm due off at 8.30, but hope they'll let me through if I'm there early. I've only done a few couple of hundred metres with other riders while out to date.
The earlier the better, congestion is almost impossible it miss.
I had a 6:30 start, and there were still plenty of 6am'ers bottlenecking in front, even on a sub 3 hour time.

I wouldn't worry about being a novice riding in a chain, the plus' and learning the craft far out way being reticent about it.
Just follow the lead, take your turn, and point out potholes.

CYCLING CAPS PROVISIONAL ORDER FORM
Can you please keep quoting this one post when adding your name, so it becomes a 'mailing list'.

I'm still not going to commit 100% to the venture.
As this list grows, I'll start putting stuff together.
A couple of days before I'm on the phone shaking and sweating with my credit card in hand, if your names on this list expect a PM which will be your official order confirmation.

Half way chaps.
6 more to go and I'll pull my finger out.

We still need side panel writing.

SUSSEX by the SEA.

RIDE OR FALL.

Goss second as per usual in a sprint, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory yet again. Superb bit of riding by Demare to take the win :clap2: No luck finding a video of it so far, but if I do I'll post it up because it's well worth watching.

Good job Jens didn't stay away until the end despite a valiant effort, or else it would have been twitter bits & bobs galore from SB all evening

Edit: Here we go. shame they don't show the over head replay on this clip as that's a great view of a superb move.

The overhead a 1:57 shows it pretty well. The jump on the way into the last corner was pretty impressive too!

Without that, it'll be a pretty sparse list.
Don't worry though, should the caps 'sell', that won't be on them!

Already watching that one!

It will be my daughters first bike with gears and I'm a little worried about levers on the bottom tube. I've sent you a PM though on a couple of others I've been watching. Thanks for the heads up!
I meant to add to that last PM, some room 'but not a great deal'.

I might have a piece of this, for Alpe du'Huez, on the 18th.

British fans of the Tour de France will be able to watch the race live on a big screen in a free 'Fan Park' set up by the race's organiser Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) at Canary Wharf, London, from July 15 to 21.

In addition to live coverage of the Alpine stages of the Tour in the Fan Park, visitors will also be able to take part in several Tour-themed activities, including photo exhibitions and regional French food stalls - as well as some produce from 2014 Grand Depart host, Yorkshire.

Visitors will have the "opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of the Grande Boucle", says ASO.

The appearance of the park further strengthens the ties between the Tour and Britain. The Tour paid a highly successful visit to the capital in 2007, and will return to London en route from Yorkshire next year.

The Fan Park will be open from 10.30am in the morning to 10pm at night from July 15 to July 21, the final day of the 2013 Tour.

More details will be released soon on the Tour de France Fan Park official website.

I like 'Ride or Fall'. Perhaps better - 'You can tell them all that we'll ride or fall'.

I also like 'Sussex by the Sea', but prefer 'Good old Sussex by the Sea'.

I guess it's down to how much will fit and look OK.

How about...

Inter undas et colles floremus
Or..
Between downs and sea we flourish
(Brighton coat of arms)

Stripe rider

Blue and white rider

We're the men from Sussex

Or we could go all continental...

Le mouettes

Albion à bloc

Bleu et Blanc

Allez Albion

Personally I like Ride or Fall too.

Anyone advise on good handlebar tape. Is the cork stuff on eBay any good.

Thanks in advance.
