I see on 'Dogs' Guinness Boy is trying to promote 'Running' as the doyen of collective threads on NSC.
It would seem someone has got a little ahead of himself and may well need reminding who's the daddy.
I retired my MTB this morning. I gave it a good send off, a lovely ride alongside the river Medway. Anyone visiting Maidstone for the first time via river would think it the best town in Kent. No front gears, brakes that don't bring you to a halt and a very second hand seat. It had to go and it wasn't worth converting.
I liked the ride so much, I'm back on the 'gravel' train of thought. Would I use it enough to justify acquiring it? I suppose I could commute on it because that has rough surfaces and a fair smattering of gravelly debris.
I still can't my head around whether the govt scheme is worth it. When I read it, I am not sure I see the point, save access, because overall you are out of pocket to the same extent.
Any thoughts:
Triban
Voodoo
I'm a bit cautious about the Voodoo because I might be at the limit of height for size L, no size XL.
The Triban is a single. I fear that might be one short at each end, making any climb a grind and any run a spin.
Any recommendations for a cheap bike maintenance stand?

Keep an eye on Aldi or Lidl. If you can't wait, Planet X.

Oh Moto…
You loved your MTB ride, but your bike’s a bit shit?
For God’s sake man, get yourself a new (good) MTB!
