Also meant to say - all the Olympic road cycling from the weekend (plus the triathlon and MTB racing) is on the GCN+ app for anyone who has it.
Incredible that he didn't have a dropper post on a course like that...or indeed in any MTB race in 2021. Why would he make a decision like that?
It was sad to see him eventually succumbing to his injuries. He really is a great cyclist, like Pidcock, across so many disciplines.
No idea but I bet he's regretting it now. He is a great rider and hope that both he and TP are back in Paris battling it out at the front. I do like the fact that as good as they both are on the road, they both seem to have a real passion for MTB.
Boooooo

Just watched a bit of that knobbly tyre nonsense to see what all the fuss is about. Two things immediately sprung to mind:
1. They all look like Froome on a bike.
2. This is not an event for G!
Having already seen the result, I didn't need to watch until the end. Pidcock's victory here will never equal the beauty of his Brabantse Pijl win
Philistine.
Such an incredible ride, and he's only 21! He didn't stop and point once...
Yes, he's had a great Classics season. Going to be a real talent on the road that's for sure
I'd love to see DH in the Olympics, but I don't think it'll happen anytime soon. Would be nice if Paris selected it as a test event as the French are very dominant in DH right now.
If surfing & skateboarding have made it in, I see no reason why the DH discipline of MTB cant be added to the games as well tbh....
I would love to see it, the only downside would be listening to the BBC commentary instead of Rob Warner.
Actually I'll keep that too myself.
It's that a spelling mistake? As in you won't comment on the monstrosity in the post before you?
