This is the kind of shit I don't think about when I decide the categories, haha.

I think the way I'm leaning is, an unemployed manager counts for most categories but when it comes to "manages outside the top 5" they wouldn't count.

For example somebody who had managed one team 200 times would be allowed in to that category (as long as they haven't retired) but wouldn't count as managing outside the top 5 leagues.

Sorry to be a pain, it was the selection of Pep a while back that made me think about it ('If he were still in his year off would he have been allowed?' for example).

That's a fair enough ruling, thought it'd be unlikely to be allowed but didn't want to miss out on a possible load of managers if I could avoid it!

This is one of the things I love about these drafts. I could spend hours figuring out every potential little loophole and with-in the first couple of rounds I'll find myself having to make a decision that hadn't even crossed my mind when I was planning.
