My fifth round pick, although I badly wanted it to be a center half, has to take a goal scoring role. Top Scorer in the Bundesliga in 2009–10 season with 22 goals scored. Now the most under utilised big man in world football and a man I think has slipped under the radar...

Edin Dzeko

Edin-Dzeko-Norwich-Manchester-City-Premier-Le_2879451.jpg

Category 1 - Has played at least 200 times for one club
Category 2 – Has made over 70 International appearances
Category 3 - Has never played at a World Cup - Jordi Alba
Category 4 - Plays/Manages outside the “top 5” leagues
Category 5 – Has been the top goal scorer in a top-flight season - Edin Dzeko
Category 6 – Played football in at least 4 different countries
Category 7 – Has been relegated during his career - Isco
Category 8 – Has played in a Champions League Semi-Final/Final. - Manuel Neuer
Category 9 – Is under 24 years of age
Category 10 - Has won a league title with 2 different clubs
Category 11 – Is over 30 years old
Category 12 - Has faced Brighton at some point in his career - Pablo Zabaleta

Now back to the long bloody wait for picks 6 and 7

After much thought I have settled on my next choice. With 4 players from La Liga already, I have decided I need some a bit more fight with a player from the Bundasliga. The fact he is only 21, but is constantly in the starting 11 for Bayern Munich shows just how good he is at such a young age. Arguably the best left back in the World, won the prestigious 'Austrian Player of the Year' for the last years on the bounce and is an expert at getting forward and tracking back. I present Lovegrovers FC's LB:

David Alaba

Gazwag, your next up to the oche.

I had the HARDEST time deciding between him and Alba. The best two LBs in the world atm IMO with Lahm. Great choice.

I was hoping to get him, but i doubted he would last long enough as i have someone else in mind for my next choice (desperately hoping they won't get picked before my turn again)

About to post my next pick but any chance somebody could start posting the picks in alphabetical order by surname rather than the way it is being done

Great, well thats my 2 preferred full backs gone in the last two picks. :nono:

At least my next pick is still available (for now) and not long to go until my next pick (fingers, toes and everything else crossed no one selects him before then)

Same here. Agony waiting for my pick and wondering whether somehow these players will be forgotten. As with most things, it's the hope I can't stand.

I am, like Natalie Imbruglia, completely TORN between two players at the moment. I almost hope that Jay Cartwright chooses one of them so it takes the decision out of my hands...

If you're on a laptop/computer then the easiest way to search is pressing Ctrl and F which opens up a search box for that page.

Tablet? No idea but I'm guessing somebody will know what to do.

Without wishing to sound boring, and I know that this is a recurring phrase in this thread, but I can't believe this player hasn't been picked yet*.

3 La Liga titles
122 goals in 264 games for Real Madrid
26 in 31 for Argentina

Team MBH drafts GONZALO HIGUAIN

*But I would have picked Marcelo too.
