So i've been doing this FA cup odyssey thing, where you get to the first possible game thats the nearest to you, and then follow the winning team to the next game. I started with Eastbourne Town 2-0 Little Common in the extra preliminary round in the first weekend of August, and many games later (via Burgess Hill x 3, Taunton and Maidenhead Town) i found myself at the Crawley vs Lincoln game on saturday. (was thinking of doing a thread on it, but couldnt be bothered in the end)

Now i dont like Crawley, cos they're a shit club from a horrible little town, so i went in the away end for this one. And they rocketed back from 2-0 down in the first 13 mins to absolutely smash em 4-3, and for a twenty min spell in the second half Lincoln looked like scoring with every single attack - six or seven clear cut chances to make it 5-2, 6-2, 7-2 - before Crawley nicked a late one to add some tension. The away end was a right laugh, and i've a bit of a soft spot for Lincoln now, and this has affirmed my dislike for tinpot nothing bunch of pricks Crawley Town FC

Good win tonight for the Red lads. Genuinely can’t believe some dislike them more than our venerable old foes, the Orient. Might be between those two teams for the last survival place

Great win, which I'm sure a few on here will be disappointed about ,a few mildly pleased about and the vast majority couldn't give a shit about .
Anyhow, onwards and upwards as they say .

Let’s hope the O’s stay up, real football club. Crawley is a plastic town, with plastic people and a plastic football club.

Yes this is the more plausible explanation tho my interest was piqued by some talk of dressing room bust-ups. Without Williams, Crawley have climbed out of the League One relegation zone
I have heard the same in regards to a falling out and that he is leaving in January.

I for one really want Crawley Town to do well (in spite of the team's crude and violent tactics in the Albion match) so I think your first comment is rather odd.

Would you like some cheese with that whine?
