Lewes, the Eastbourne clubs and arguably Worthing have all been bigger than Crawley Town in the past. You can't really say that now though, any more than you'd say Bristol City are a bigger club than us.

Well I said in jest, but I do remember maybe a year or two ago, that on a New Years Day, Bognor, Worthing and Hastings all had a higher attendance than Crawley. I'd definitely put Crawley in with those clubs as a similar size.

Radio Sussex lately when we have identical fixture times to Crawley, are devoting huge chunks of the time between 4:50 and 6:00 on these fuckers. Tons of interviews etc. Yes I know the clues in the “Sussex” but our fanbase is several rungs up the ladder on theirs.
