I dont think we have had it rough, any business run badly gets what it deserves.
Hopefully this may be the kick up the arse that football clubs need and steps are taken so that it does not happen again,or when it does the punishments are well defined and quickly executed.

If you think this will give other clubs a kick up the arse you really are very naive. Palace have got off lightly, not even having to sell their best players. What a lesson to be learnt eh?

Yes I am probably being a bit naive, but I try to live my life in a decent and honourable way and like to be associated with things and people of a similar outlook.

football should be for the fans not just a money making toy for bosses on ego trips, fans must stick together for the good of the game

I hope you are on a wind up?

IF you think you haven't got away lightly for going into Admin for the second time in ten years then you're having a laugh.

I certainly didn't want you to disappear, but in reality you have got away VERY, very lightly.

You still have your ground and almost all your players, and are in the same division you were in - yet only last week 29 people lost their jobs, and loads of creditors will get, what 20p in the pound?

Not blaming the fans, but just like Pompey the whole thing stinks.

We stayed up because our players refused to give up.
We didn't own our ground before but now we do.
Actually you are right .......:clap2:

Eagle eyed view of you...
If you do that I for one will cheer you on.

Back in the day when I started supporting Albion, we were known as the Dolphins and our rivalry if there was one was with Portsmouth and Southampton - never with Palace who never really got a mention.

My guess is that all this rivalry started in the late 70's or early 80's when "fans" were more interested in kicking shit out of each other than in anything happening on the football pitch. As such it has always rather passed me by and my only gripe has been that "real people" (fans included) are being shafted by football clubs whose approach to financial ethics is as clear and as clean as the Thames estuary when the sewage barges are at work.

I really hope Palace have turned the corner and will begin to act more responsibly - from your comments there seems more chance than the likes of Portsmouth and Leeds etc but we will have to wait and see............

From what I've gathered, Steve Parrish appears to be a very sensible, but also clever businessman who does things in a level headed way whilst staying in a position that doesn't attract loads of attention. Boy how we need that after the joker we'd had for the past ten years. I believe he's almost too sensible to have got involved in football, but he's had to go into this as a last resort because without him, we'd have gone out of business long ago. Our last three chairmen have collectively taken our club to the complete brink through their arrogance, naivity, general satanic nature (Ron Noades) and just generally being shit at running a club. Luckily, we now (almost) have a chairman who isn't going to try and gain celebrity status, or try to get us into the top flight through stupid financial management, or try and make as much personal profit out of the club as possible. I'm personally looking forward to playing in the lower leagues. I'd much rather that than chasing the impossible dream and wrecking ourselves in the process. It'll be great supporting a stable club again.

Lets hope those two wooden stands get condemned and have to rebuild them, that’ll set the scum back millions. Fecking ruined my day those scum bags being still in business.

Lets hope these muppets who have brought it, do a Jordan and that twat before him.

Oh no. That's really bad. Poor Palace. Oh dear, you really have suffered. A real shame. I really feel for you. You've had it so tough. I hope we never have to go through anything half as bad as what you've had to.

What a pleb.

As I've outlined, they are nothing like Jordan. As for the other stands, I believe that renovating them is on the cards. Either that, or selling Selhurst and moving to another stadium (owned by us).

Enjoy the rest of your ruined day. :shootself
