He's a Palarse fan, it comes with the territory. However we have Fat Boy they have to settle for a has been, says it all really.

To be fair, Mr B, Norm's hardly 'cutting edge' these days is he? :(

Btw, glad to hear your club's been saved from the Liquidator. It's us Albion supporters wot did it.

I've never heard of this Jensen chap

60 odd years old and he's still called Kid, what does that tell you? He was shite in his prime as well, in the Tony Blackburn, Ed Stewpot Stewart, Dave Lee Travis mould.

This is good news for all proper footie fans. Glad it's been sorted and you can get back to the serious stuff of being crap, getting relegated and being jealous of our 21st century, state-of-the-art, not-flat-pack, modern footie stadium. By the way, did I mention you're a bunch of smelly, peg-selling nigels?

Eagle eyed view of you...
We'll be League 1 the season after next and will probably stay there for a long time. I am glad though, because we finally have some level headed people at our club who will run it within its means, unlike the orangman's "let's go to loan sharks so we can get into the premiershit" nonsense. We won't be celebrating much in the coming few years, but thank goodness we'll be a stable club at long last, and will be able to build on that.

If only that were true for you and other clubs in a similar position. Can't see it happening but only time will tell

Oh go on. Just one more thread.

Awaiting confirmation.

does this mean that the next time you're on the 'brink' your demo will be even worse than this time round? Would imagine the handful that got 'active' this time will be lulled into even more inaction next time round.

I really can't wait.

If you do that I for one will cheer you on.

Back in the day when I started supporting Albion, we were known as the Dolphins and our rivalry if there was one was with Portsmouth and Southampton - never with Palace who never really got a mention.

My guess is that all this rivalry started in the late 70's or early 80's when "fans" were more interested in kicking shit out of each other than in anything happening on the football pitch. As such it has always rather passed me by and my only gripe has been that "real people" (fans included) are being shafted by football clubs whose approach to financial ethics is as clear and as clean as the Thames estuary when the sewage barges are at work.

I really hope Palace have turned the corner and will begin to act more responsibly - from your comments there seems more chance than the likes of Portsmouth and Leeds etc but we will have to wait and see............
