They are going to hound Glasner out aren't they, less than 6 months ago he was taking them into Europe in 25/26, now he's shit; they never learn.

The root of the problem is in their boardroom and has been for years.
Media loving Beaky will act because:

  1. That's what leading EPL decisive CEO's do.
  2. He really wants to be perceived as a leading EPL decisive CEO.
  3. When he has acted before (Roy x 2, Paddy V Pardew, DeB and others I guess) he has seen an upturn in results (accepting there might have been those anyway but cannot be proved).
The thing is, whereas 10 years ago it was a team of 3, it is now a team of 10 so the expense will be massive. That said, an invaluable change if EPL survival follows - that is crucial to Beaky.

The 2 longest serving yanks regret buying in. Texter has tried to switch clubs. Beaky hasn't got an EPL level pot to piss in. Yanks seem unwilling to put more in. Rumours of the loan earlier this year. The 'ringfenced money' proving to be utter bollocks. Beaky being the minor investor but the decision maker. What could possibly go wrong? I hope if we take a decent albeit obviously undeserved lead when we play them next we sing: 'Steve Parish, we want you to stay'.

Oh and: Yes but don't tell em!

I'm assuming Palace are just letting the gap to the European places grow like this for the LOLs, and any day now this world-class, generational team is going to casually flick a switch and cruise past everyone – like a professional Kenyan middle-distance runner against a field of 12-year olds – with a run of 25 straight wins in a row?
