Been here with Palace plenty of times before. They'll sack Glasner in December, bring in a boring merry-go-round manager (odds on its Moyes) who will sort out their defence and they'll finish 12-14th.

If I'm honest I feel far less passion for our rivalry with Palace these days. I don't know whether it's because we're not the underdog anymore or if I've got more apathetic with age. But they're just a bit drab, and that's hard to get excited about.

With Newcastle, Chelsea and Man City available, there are far more hateable clubs. I still maintain a dislike of Palace purely out of duty, but it gets harder and harder over time.

You need a bit of pantomime sometimes in a rivalry, someone exaggerated you can hate easily. Zaha used to be that.

What we really need is Steve Parish to come out dressed as Widow Twankey, that'll respark the rivalry
