I really hope it is something so simple as a change of manager to get Cox playing well again. It's all well and good having a blinder against a shockingly bad team, but unless he keeps it up and has the consistency, it'll be a huge waste of potential.

Fingers crossed but only time will tell.

IMHO the key to Coxy's performance yesterday lies with the interview in Friday's Argus

Cox admits Seagulls can't afford to lose From The Argus)

He was fired up for this one. Maybe they all were. And it obviously did no harm that Yeovil were quickly sussed as being a deeply shit side who gave our dodgy defence a rare quiet day at the office. But who's to say that the boy Slade can't fire them up the same way more often, and maybe the manager's enthusiasm is contagious. Seems like a man with something to prove, and hopefully he can inject that into the players as well. Fingers crossed, eh.

I'm not going to get carried away but the signs are good so far, It was allways going to take Slade a few games to get his ideas across to the players and there was a big improvement in the players team work and attitude yesterday and as long as we can keep that up we stand a better chance of staying up.

Do you still think Cox has no ability and a poor attitude Bwian????

This question wasn't aimed at me but I do agree with the person you quoted and feel people were perfectly jusitified in saying Cox hasn't played well, his play predictable, set pieces and corners couldn't beat the first man etc. Yes Cox had a good game yesterday but I'm not going to do what a lot of people do, change my opinion to suit the current situation. One good game against a poor opposition does not a great player make, if he continues to play well then great, but until then I won't be hasty and start calling a great player.

He must have had a good game, as I had to donate 50p to Comic Relief for every Cox cross that hit ther first man, I only had to donate £1, from which one of the crosses was for our penalty.

He has been toilet all season, he was rubbish in the last two games, Slade saw sense and took Cox off corners and set pieces, and we look dangerous once again.

Yesterday he played well, 1st goal took well, assist for Forsters first was good, and then scoring past a midget for his second.

I think he could still be a good influencial player for us, but he always disappoints with his predictableness (if thats even a word)

if the mods banned everyone who was ever wrong on this site, I'd be the only NSC poster.
Not a bad idea, now I think about it.... :yahoo:

So, what you are saying (in a nutshell) is you would rather just be talking to yourself....and going to the trouble of typing everything into the bargain just for good measure.
