No "sloping off" from me. I agreed with most of the policies of UKIP, hoped Labour might represent me.....no chance, in 13 years they just about wrecked this country.

If you were disabled, mentally ill, poor or disadvantaged in any way then this country was a paradise under Labour compared to the Bullingdon Boys reign of destruction.

You can say that again,

National Minimum Wage,
Record numbers of Police and Nurses,
A decade of sustained prosperity and economic stability,
The Good Friday Agreement and peace in Northern Ireland,
Paternity leave for fathers,
2,200 Sure Start Children’s Centres,
Banned fox hunting,
Free entry to national museums and galleries,
Cut long-term youth unemployment by 75%,
Reduced crime by 32%,

Absolutely WRECKED this country.

Apart from that, what have the labour government done for us!

National minimum wage
Free bus passes for pensioners
Tax credits for low income families
Winter fuel payments for the disabled and pensioners.

Left the Nation with a vast national debt?

Presented incomplete intelligence as hard facts to bounce us into a war that lead to hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths?

Decided to enact a mass immigration policy without any electoral mandate?

:p

Left the Nation with a vast national debt?

UK interest payments on national debt as a percentage of GDP:

3% of GDP. And that on the heels of a depression.
Crippling, I tells ya. Crippling!

Which one of you lot used to say "You never had it so good"?

Wouldn't vote for any of them. They all promise the world, then after a few years it all falls apart again. Tory, Labour, Tory, Labour it doesn't make any difference. One party gives everything away, the other party takes it away.

I would say thou the party that has inflicted the most damage on this country is Labour. You can get your economy back, but you can't get your indentity back. I will never vote for this party again and feel cheated by them.

It's that kind of dismissive attitude which means labour are ATM finished in England.

Either that or your comment was a rare bit of self reflection.

This has been done to death on NSC. We really do not need another thread telling us the same thing AGAIN. If it's a new angle fine. More of the same is, well, yawn inducing.

Might as well repeat this.

"Doesn't pander to anyone until he becomes leader and then has a sea change involving his lifelong opposition to the EU."
You can add hypocrite to the list given the message on this !

The arse end of Hangleton
although he seems fairly similar to other Labour leaders aside from Tony Blair and maybe Neil Kinnock.

Kinnock is a good comparison ..... both were very anti-EU, with a history of voicing their dislike and then, suddenly, over night became keen supporters of the EU.
