Are smaller clubs than us i think we are doing ok this season
Watford?
Palace?
Hull?
Blackpool?
Reading?
I'd say they are all bigger than us nad also more succesful in recent years years
Doncaster and Barnsley have also had more success in recent years
Surely it depends on what makes a club 'big'. As others have pointed out, if 'history' is considered the main factor in how 'big' a club is, we are a smaller club than many in this division. However, if current attendances or revenue is used as the yardstick we are easily top half.
And round and round we go again. Wigan are the yardstick - if they stayed in the Premiership for decades to come would you consider them a big club? Bigger than all Championship clubs? For my money Wigan could win the Champions League year on year and they'll never be a big club. Currently we are 'on a par' with clubs like Reading and Hull rather than being smaller than them and in Championship terms we probably sit half way up the table in 'bigness' terms.
Barnsley are bigger than us
