We are definitely bigger than Reading.

Just because they had a few seasons in the top flight relatively recently, doesn't make them a big club. We have far more of a history than them

Surely it depends on what makes a club 'big'. As others have pointed out, if 'history' is considered the main factor in how 'big' a club is, we are a smaller club than many in this division. However, if current attendances or revenue is used as the yardstick we are easily top half.

All of it , one can be heavier than the other if particularly glittering

What a pointless thread - mine is bigger than yours playground mentality will just start yet another dispute. There is no agreed criterion for size of club unless you use annual revenue in the published accounts and we will not know that for some time in respect of this season as a whole.

And round and round we go again. Wigan are the yardstick - if they stayed in the Premiership for decades to come would you consider them a big club? Bigger than all Championship clubs? For my money Wigan could win the Champions League year on year and they'll never be a big club. Currently we are 'on a par' with clubs like Reading and Hull rather than being smaller than them and in Championship terms we probably sit half way up the table in 'bigness' terms.

We are NOT on a par with Reading.

They are a nothing club who've only EVER been in the top two divisions recently because of the HUGE investment from their wealthy owner. Historically they are insignificant. They have done NOTHING to put them in the history books.

I will NEVER accept we are anything like Reading. Shit club in a shit town
