dear me, since we got promoted there are some people who think we have become unbeatable and if we do lose its obviously our fault.

you clearly haven't seen the same keepers i have seen in the last years watching the albion if you think he is shit.greed he isn't the best keeper in this league but he is by far from the worst.Saturday he kept us in the game, then one "deemed" mistake and they keyboard warriors are off about how crap he is... Have you seen the mistake?

Not a bad keeper, but if we want to challenge at the top of this league we will need better.

Casper is a great shot stopper usually and a cross flapper usually. Leeds got rid of him when they were promoted from Div 1 to the Championship and got a better keeper. We haven't.

Bloodyhell, all these experts listening on the radio!!

There are better keepers, but he's ours at the moment, and had an excellent game v Hull. 'Sounds' like a missed pen and a couple of chances to put CMS in cost us more than a "35 yrd wonder strike"..

West Ham to come which means the Allardyce 'hoof it' aerial style of footie so Ankergren should expect to get plenty of practice at dealing with crosses. Won't be the sort of game to have a flapping keeper.

I wouldn't mind these threads so much if the OP had the stones to suggest a realistic alternative rather than the "he's shit, get rid" bollocks we get. A couple of wins and the people on his back will forget all about this "problem".

I was not at the game, nor could I listen to it on the radio, so I really don't know, but can someone confirm that the Millwall goal was 100% Ankergren's fault?

The commentary was "a 35 yard wonder strike"...then they couldn't decide as they only saw one replay. So even the commentators in a great position at the game with a monitor in front of them couldn't work it out, whereas as spotty faced Albion fans sat by their DABS could...

didnt he make a couple of good saves?
according to the commentery he did anyway and also if someone's getting a free shot at goal from 25 yards out, shouldnt we look at the midfield/defence putting pressure on the striker before we even think about talking about the actual shot?
