The 29-year-old impressed during his spell at Pittodrie and has attracted interest from a number of clubs in England.

After years when we had some safe reliable hands between the posts: Moseley, Digweed, Keeley, Beeney, Kuipers to name just a few, we've had a few calamity keepers in recent years. Do we need another one?

I know little of this guy but my gut instinct says 'nah'. Is he any better than what we have at present? Is he going to less error prone, more commanding & give his defence more confidence in the keeper than at present? He doesn't tick any boxes for me to be honest.

I think time is playing tricks with your memories to be honest.

There is no way that Digweed, Moseley, or Kuipers were any less error-prone than Ankergren or Brezovan.

Was John Keeley in your time? I'm a little hazy on the dates of appearances from when I first started watching. Wickipedia says he left in 90, was that before you started watching?

Personally I would like us to sign a lower league English goalie who we could develop. Keep Brez in goal until the next clanger though.
