If Casper is not good enough, then Brez is certainly no better.
I don't think that was a clanger, the ball was at an awkward height and he had a southampton player run right across him as he dived. Sure, he should have done better and not been so easily distracted by a guy so close to his head, but 'clanger' is overstating it, imo.

Like i said get rid of them. Poke will be on the lowest wage out of the three keepers and is only on loan for a month. Call him back as backup to this new keeper until end of the season and get rid of him also. Another new keeper in the summer.
All our current keepers are pretty poor for this level.

Reluctantly, because I like Casper as a character and he's made some blinding saves, I agree that neither of our current keepers is good enough for the Championship. And as for saying, 'don't waste money on a keeper' - surely the most important position on the pitch?

But is this guy any better, is any goalkeeper we sign going to be any better? Not sure, if they are, then we wont be able to afford them. Both are good enough for mid table championship which is what we are.
