No certainly don't think it was done on purpose, and you can tell by the reaction of the City players as they were quite shocked as well. We were behind him on way home and he was being driven by someone, which is quite obvious really. Bit gutted for him as don't think it will be healed in time for Saturday, and he would of loved to of played against Peterborough.

  do you THINK?

It was only after I posted that and then looked at the picture again I realised how stupid it was, I was hoping it was going to slip under the radar but there's always one smart f**ker who manages to pick up on these things :lolol::thumbsup:

Not many fans are whinging/pointing the blame are we? and never a truer word spoken - injuries happen and if we start crying and shit we run the risk of turning into pissing Doncaster!!

Take it you weren't at the game then.

OH how very f***ing condescending.

Did you not see the goal kick that was actually a corner or the throw given blatantly the wrong way(both in our favour) or the countless times Wood brought the ball down with his hands or the stamp by Maynard on Calderon? I could go on.

To coin a phrase "Take it you weren't at the game then".

Arrogant twat.

It was actually a clear penalty had either of the officials seen it. It may well have been accidental for the defenders thumb to poke him in the eye causing the subsequent damage, but the LEFT arm should not have been there in the first place. Foul + Penalty.

I have to admit that from the Press Box angle (and therefore most of the West Stand and the North Stand) it did not look a penalty - the clearest view (possibly the only clear view) came from behind the goal, which perhaps excuses the officials.

spoke to him after the match, he said he wanted to stay on and play, but the gaffer said it would affect his perspective. He was in good spirits still and left laughing. Cant keep a good man down!!

Two decisions but you try and make it sound like he was getting everything wrong. And quite clearly you got it totally wrong with regard to CMS. I always ready to knock refs but don't think he got too much wrong.

That is a horrible injury. Disgusting behaviour from the bristol player. Can charges be brought post match? Will be at least 3 weeks for that to completely go down. How did the ref not see the injury?

It was an accident, even then why the f*** would you want to try and press charges? Football these days

Errr, why?

It was accidental as you say but that in no way makes it a penalty. There were, as far as I can recall, no appeals and no remonstrations from the Albion players apart from Calderon claiming it was an elbow. Take into account the tweets from CMS as well. Apart from all that, don't you think the facepalm is a close representation of what happened (don't think there is quite one with a thumb in the eye itself).
