Chris Hughton was too good for Newcastle Utd.

He is a class act and a man of dignity. Fans hero Shearer couldn't save the Toon, yet Hughton got them straight back up and then into Prem mid-table respectability. Losing to WBA yesterday is no disgrace as they are a decent side who play good football.

There was a time when Newcastle was everyone's second favourite side but those days are long gone.
