No Nibble would need a boring sidekick like all the famous double acts if he did a show. You know the non talented, straight, spacktoid one........................

That reminds me... Anyone heard from NMH lately.

This is true. What presenter/station would you recommend? Always up for trying summat new.

No DJ will appeal to everyone but I always thought there was a natural progression as one gets older, perhaps maturer or perhaps more discretionary, to different presenters and stations. Traditionally you grew up with Radio 1, moved to Radio 2 and then start to flirt with Radio 4 and Classic FM. Perhaps if you can't stand the flagship presenter on Radio 2 it's time to make the next move?!

Agreed. I already listen to R4 in the morning when it's hands off cocks and on with socks timeI pop R6 on at lunchtime ,R2 on in the late afternoon, early evening and back to R4 for beddybyebo's. I am old before my time!

I loved some of the stories on DB's Saturday morning show.
The man who reluctantly went to an afternoon fete with his wife because England were playing but upon arrival whooped with joy because they had a big screen in one of the marquees/tents. England scored and everyone jumped up in the air but this fellow just dropped to the floor semi-conscious because he received a terrible blow to the back of his head. At first he thought it might have been a rival fan from Serbia or whoever it was they were playing but it transpired he had been standing at the side of the tent with his head against the canvass and directly outside of that was the coconut shy.
Apparently he remembered nothing of the game.

on that note this is always worth an airing

He's busy shagging half the female Scandinavian population obviously, like all the other Father Jack lookalikes.

However, you'll be pleased to know that Beach Hut is still posting on here.

I'm trying to find the mountain rescue, wrestling fan story who whilst half way up Snowdonia after an emergency call out, proceeded to set up a tv with its own aerial to watch the Giant Haystack versus Big Daddy bout on World of Sport.
I laughed for a week with that one.

A friend of my wife used to work for an advertising agency that used/was used by Chris Evans. She told him about my intense dislike of him so the smug twat gave her a signed photo of himself with"why don't you like me?" written across it to pass on to me (and before anyone points it out I do know he couldn't really give a shit) I just wrote "because your a tosspot" on it and asked her to give it back, which she insists she did although she's never told me his reaction.

I never much liked his zany shows but I have to confess he is a much better option in the morning than Terry Wogan's absolute waffle ever was.
