Always listen the the Chris Evans show. I love the fact he's positive about everything.

Radio 1 is only for brain dead mongs. Loads of "cool" chat about "cool" bands and loads of other crap.

Agreed. Anyone that gives Sarah Cox or Nick Grimes airtime needs shot. Makes me want to vomit when they self-appoint themselves nicknames, Coxy and Grimy. Bleeurghh. Grimes is a spectacular nonsense of a man.

I find Jeremy Vine to be the most ignorant, middle England ,white, middle class, public school educated, tosspot outside the Daily Mail.Simon Mayo is the best presenter on Radio Two in my opinion.

Yeah, he can be irritating but he does some interesting programs and I quite like his turn of phrase. I think he is the antithesis of mundane though.I tend to flick around on the radio and stop at what I find interesting, I will always find Fry more interesting than Evans but I wouldn't rule out listening to Evan's show if he had someone interesting on but I don't think they do guests on the morning show? May be wrong.

They do have guests on the morning show quite frequently.

Turn it in mate, NSC has seen enough binfests of late don't you think? I'm talking about Chris Evans being a bore. You don't agree. Fine. No need for adolescent sniping eh?

Fair point. Though the only way to avoid any binfests on NSC is for nobody to ever post anything.

danny's desert island discs is very enlightening.

He only lives of the day, and has nothing to fall back on.

Him and his young family rock up in new york.
They arrive at the hotel (name escapes me) only to be told there are no rooms, except the x amount of thousands of dollars a night presidential suite (for visiting presidents).
Instead of going elsewhere db's first thought is 'how often do you get to stay in a room like that', and books it up.

That's how he rolls, and instead of changing opinion, the cancer has validated it.
It's well worth a listen.

like a f***ing BOSS!!!

Grimshaw, that's the one. Grimes? Think he's off Corrie (which is also shit)! Anything else?

Simon Mayo is the best presenter on Radio Two in my opinion.
The only DJ of long standing to come away from the Savile furore with praise, from multiple female colleagues.

Simon Mayo is good. I often listen to his show whilst cooking supper. Very enjoyable.

well as stated I'm not anti Evans myself. I normally flit between Radio 2, 4 and local. I also download podcasts from the Danny Baker weekend shows, Rhod Gilbert's welsh radio show (don't knock it until you've listened to it) and the friday evening comedy show on radio 4 if i am feeling organised.

Like most things if you spend too much time listening to a limited range of stuff it can get dull. The world is your own oyster though...

Ah! I love Rhod Gilbert's show, only heard 4 or 5 on catch up but very good. Very funny man.

I loved some of the stories on DB's Saturday morning show.
The man who reluctantly went to an afternoon fete with his wife because England were playing but upon arrival whooped with joy because they had a big screen in one of the marquees/tents. England scored and everyone jumped up in the air but this fellow just dropped to the floor semi-conscious because he received a terrible blow to the back of his head. At first he thought it might have been a rival fan from Serbia or whoever it was they were playing but it transpired he had been standing at the side of the tent with his head against the canvass and directly outside of that was the coconut shy.
Apparently he remembered nothing of the game.

Am I the only one who thinks Nibble should have his own radio show? It would probably only last fifteen minutes as he'd get pulled for insulting everyone, but it would be brilliant!
