Sorry, you're quite right, this was supposed to be sent to the BBC requesting his immediate retirement. I must have got my emails mixed up. I can only imagine that someone at the BBC has just received an email telling them about the queues for pies at the Amex. How am I ever going to get anything changed like this!?

I always listen to his show in the morning on the way to work. Far better than any of the other options.
Heart - ZZZZZZzzzzz... same music all the time, inane drivel, too may adverts
Talkshite - err no.
Absolute - You think Evans is self-obsessed, try Christian O'Connell
Radio 1 - not since I was 12.
Radio Sussex, Radio 5, Radio 4 etc... I want music, if I wanted to listen to people talk I would phone the wife.
That is about all my choices driving up the A23, tried CD's but got bored of having to keep swapping them in the car after I had heard the same songs.

I can't stand him either. Read the first few pages of his autobiography 'memoirs of a fruitcake' and wanted to punch him in the face for being a prick and calling himself a 'fruitcake'.

Mmmm. We have a pot and kettle situation here.
I quite enjoy his show. Fast moving, good music and often amusing. What I like about CE is that whilst he can definitely be a bit 'the big I am' at times he also has the ability to be self deprecating and self critical to balance. Whether you like him or not there is no doubt he has an incredibly sharp and wide ranging brain and mouth that must make him a challenge to work or live with!
Now, Steve Wright I can't stand. Should have been retired off with DLT, Mike Read et al.......

I like him doing radio shows i must admit , but he is so vein and arrogent , i remember he went to an FA Cup final by helecopter to the Millenium stadium in Cardiff , he forgot his ticket so he asked the guys at the door if it was ok for him to go in , 'you know who i am' he said and got in without an issue , sure would be the same for us ? Then the other day he kept on and on about going to the premier of Skyfall because he could , probably not too interested in any of these evenst just wants to be in the limelight , wanker !!! But good on the radio !

With you on the Steve Wright one, dull man. Chris Evans is a bit like Zoe Ball, everything is just about trying to convince us they are interesting/cool/worthy etc. In all seriousness, I cannot see how this makes for good radio. They just don't seem interested in anyone else. All the Bushy, Vorowhatever insults aside it was a serious point for discussion. Self obsession rarely makes forgood radio, there must be better presenters out there?
