I wonder if the larger allocation, playing us away twice in a week, and their awful away form turned away the usual contingent and instead it was filled with a bunch of home fans who fancied a nice weekend by the seaside. It certainly didn't feel like the usual Chelsea lot were around in town.
I work with a chelsea fan..he travels to most away games but avoids the Brighton ones because, in his words, it brings the idiots out. He is therefore avoiding this Friday too.I agree that performances dictate support but even with that excuse, it was a remarkably odd away support. They went 1-0 up and there was no real noise from the fans.

That's what has struck me about Chelsea's African fanbase for years. They use social media to proclaim their love for the team and club in general - all the 'London is blue' nonsense from the oligarch era, for example - and yet if any of them showed up for an actual game, the wannabe C18/Headhunter cretins would make their life hell....I do wonder how their racist dickheads react to him.
To the IRASaw that. No surrender to what exactly? They would be the same types who would cower away if they went to war and leave us to cover for them.
I'm the opposite.I find this unbelievable. Even for football fans, that is extraordinary. I think Maresca has done a brilliant job there. He was brave enough to basically sideline half of their ridiculously bloated squad, and only use the ones he needs, which was exactly what needed doing. To have that basket case of a club in 4th place with that owner and all the issues they have is a brilliant achievement in my opinion. Hopefully they will sack him and set him up for life financially, and bring in the next big name coach that will also fail. I'd happily have him at the Albion.
I’m amazed. I didn’t think anyone would be able to understand the lingo in the ol’ Black Country accent. Bostin’ !Yet Wolves (it think it was them) got fined 1,000's for songs they sang at Chelsea fans
I don't know, I'm sure they could bond over their mutual love of homophobia and mysogyny...?That's what has struck me about Chelsea's African fanbase for years. You didn’t go to Charlton last time then ?Probably the most away fans ever at the Amex and definitely the quietest. Shambles from them. 6000 Albion fans at any away ground would make a right old racket.

Yep, we all turned up expecting the team to turn it in against League One minnows and breeze into the next round. But the team didn't perform and us fans didn't respond by trying to lift them. Poor all round reallyQuite. That game is up there with a small number of others of maximum difference between expected and actual Albion fan experience/behaviour... we got totally outsung by a group of about 50 Charlton fans with a drum!
I’m still waiting at the ticket office for my tickets that never got delivered! You didn’t go to Charlton last time then ?
That was chaos that night.I’m still waiting at the ticket office for my tickets that never got delivered!
It was one queue to another, getting in the train, writing to pick up tickets, then to get in the ground, queuing for beers in the ground, then finally queuing back at London Bridge desperately trying to get on the last train before the train strike kicked in.That was chaos that night.
Yeah, amazing how well a club can be run if it has billions pumped in from the Russian state and from unpaid taxes.Certainly was a better club under Roman ................than this shower of
