Chelsea fans by far the worst type of people, as many have said playing up to thier right wing scummy image, always been the same, shit part of London, horrible club, scum as fans.

I can’t quite honestly say if I hear someone is a Chelsea fan I avoid them like the plague.

So how do you really feel about Chelsea fans?

So generally in favour of Starmer then?

(I'll get my coat and move over to the political threads)

They really are a strange mix though. Wealthy finance execs, foreign tourists and a core of middle age men smelling of pubs, wormwood scrubs and too many right wing meetings
Did you know Weller actually supports Chelsea?

I can’t remember a quieter group of away fans at the Amex ever. Even when they weren’t losing they were very quiet. I’m genuinely curious as to why…maybe the increased allocation meant a lot of casual away fans and split up the hardcore regulars? Or was there a lot of isolated angry shouting and posturing and no togetherness?

I did not!

However, despite what I have written above, the only Chelsea fans I actually know well are very decent individuals. You can't always choose what you are born into.

I keep reading this, but I thought they were really loud for the first 15 minutes. Basically until we scored.

Much gobbler outside the stadium than in it. Very muted following, I think it's hilarious that they want Mareseca out when he has basically turned the team around from being a complete basket case to a genuine top four contender

I'd like to flag up that I spotted a very noisy Chelsea fan.

He came Conor McGregoring it round to where his team were boarding the coach after the game especially to shout "You should be f***ing ASHAMED of that performance, ASHAMED!" at the Chelsea players.
I think it might be more funny / interesting hear what Astrid had to say about it....

I find this unbelievable. Even for football fans, that is extraordinary. I think Maresca has done a brilliant job there. He was brave enough to basically sideline half of their ridiculously bloated squad, and only use the ones he needs, which was exactly what needed doing. To have that basket case of a club in 4th place with that owner and all the issues they have is a brilliant achievement in my opinion. Hopefully they will sack him and set him up for life financially, and bring in the next big name coach that will also fail. I'd happily have him at the Albion.

Poch did that back end of last season. They were flying in his last couple of months and came from nowhere (below us) to qualify for Europe.

Maresca inherited a team in very good form and that just carried on at the start of this season.

Quite similar to the end of Potter / start of RDZ really.

I'm shocked by this. They were silent for pretty much the whole game
They were very loud from where I was sat. Maybe it was just the fact that the away fans were closer to me than normal due to the bigger allocation.

Further to this, I just had a quick look at their forum. It's easy to fall into the trap of having an opinion on another club's issues when you don't watch them week in, week out, like their own fans do. But I found this post quite interesting:

Backs up the point I just made about Poch
It does. It looks like they were mad to sack him on the surface of it, but I think they had similar RDZ / recruitment issues with him.

The difference is that one club knows what they are doing and the other is playing an ongoing game of “pin the tail on the donkey”.

A shocker of a performance from their team, start to finish? Telegraph reckoned they were incredibly poor including Palmer, whilst the Albion were great.

Teams dictate their supports mojo?
I agree that performances dictate support but even with that excuse, it was a remarkably odd away support. They went 1-0 up and there was no real noise from the fans.

I wonder if the larger allocation, playing us away twice in a week, and their awful away form turned away the usual contingent and instead it was filled with a bunch of home fans who fancied a nice weekend by the seaside. It certainly didn't feel like the usual Chelsea lot were around in town.
