Is the Chavs Andy Jacobs on Talksport this coming week?

Going by past form there’ll be a bad losers jibe, something like:

“The booing of Cucurella was pathetic. Get over it. I hope we thrash them in the league game”.
Oh yes, and I wonder what Rory Jennings made of it 😄

They are just trying to live up to their past of being right wing as a fan base.
So generally in favour of Starmer then?

(I'll get my coat and move over to the political threads)

They really are a strange mix though. Wealthy finance execs, foreign tourists and a core of middle age men smelling of pubs, wormwood scrubs and too many right wing meetings

The most soulless club in England. I'd literally rather support Palace than them. And no, I haven't been on the bevvies.

In the queue for the railway bridge there seemed to be a 20-stone pissed-up Chelsea knobhead squaring up to what looked like a skinny and terrified-looking Brighton teenager. Looked like it might turn nasty until the idiot’s marginally less idiotic mate dragged him away. Saw something being luzzed into the queue too but to be fair that could have been by a moron from either fan base.

There was a lot in the UNI car park when I got there…after clapping the boys off, took a while to get back to the UNI as the queues were full of Chelsea wankers walking against the tide as they got the wrong queue.

as I got to the car, there was hardly any cars around me so the chelski must have all have legged it back to their cars and away before we got there.

in the uni campus by the entrance there was a group of about 20 chelski chavs on their phones, one shouting that some other chavs had agreed to a “ meet” but hadn’t shown!

they really are nasty horrible shits.

Exactly this. With the exception of the Always Ultras, most Palace fans are actually normal people supporting their local club which is, for all its comedy properties, a normal, proper football club.

Not a new-money, hedge-fund manager's plaything with a superiority complex the size of South America who hoover up approximately one third of the footballers on earth aged under 24, in most cases simply to stop other clubs from having them, who've spent previous decades being used as a vessel to conveniently process questionably sourced petrochemical funds for one of Putin's oligarch chums; whose vast army of plastic overseas "fans" is the most irritating and clueless on earth, and who revere a racist, philandering, full-kit-wearing narcissist as their greatest ever player.

Also: Astrid.

Exactly my point. They are just trying to live up to their past of being right wing as a fan base. Obviously, still are. Thick ****s doing it, either wa

That really made me stop and ponder, and yes thinking about it I also would rather support Palace than Chelsea. I must REALLY hate Chelsea...

One bumped into me on blind side as I exited the ground. Of course him and gobby mate didn’t want to know when loudly confronted. Absolute tosser behaviour

As I came out of the East stand I got clobbered from behind by a huge guy, wearing Brighton colours. He was on his phone. As I staggered sideways I got clipped by two Chelsea fans coming the other way.

I could feel myself falling when I was grabbed by two teenagers and helped to the wall of the stadium.

The guy who collided with me originally and the ones who I was knocked into just carried on without a second glance. The young lads who did help me were "Chelsea", in my experience they're not all tossers.

My homeward journey is from the east to the coach park which always means going against the flow of 3000 away fans. Saturday night there was no one there which was a strange eerie feeling, all 6000 had vanished into thin air. I could see into the south stand with kiosks open and maybe a dozen people in there. Expecting the usual abuse fighting my way through hoards coming against me, the coach park stairs were clear.
Strange, were they sent out past the west stand or something?

On the coach with a couple of them and we discussed music venues and whether Cole Palmer is really that good . Really quite civilised.

Exactly, they might have a higher percentage but to tar them all with same brush is poor and lazy.

I took my 10yr old daughter on the train last night. Rolled in to Brighton station at 18.15. It was very normal and peaceful. Coming back was more lively.

Lots of their fans trying to jump the queues etc.

Plenty of homophobic nonsense.

"Get bummed down the middle" in response to the megaphone announcement.

"Just a town full of benders"

"Brighton gayboys woah, woah"

At Brighton station also had a rendition of "2-1 to the batty boys".

My reply of "well these batty boys just bent you right over and gave you a right rogering" wasn't particularly well received and I also regret saying it when I realised I had my girl with me. But the wanker just really pissed me off.

Once on the train my daughter just looked at me and said "those Chelsea fans are idiots aren't they".

"Indeed they are" I replied. And we carried on on our journey.

When we went to the Palace game my daughter was actually more scared of our own fans at the station when going to the ground after several barriers went over, scuffle with the Police trying to get at Palace fans and bottles went from platform 8, over a parked train on platform 7 onto palace fans walking off platform 6.
