Oh come on, it's not like there's anyone in there.

If you are trying to be funny, you are failing f***ing miserably. If you are not trying to be funny, you are a miserable f***ing failure.

That's just a little bit more than disrespectful ???

I agree, it might just be a large piece of stone but it is what it represents to the nation, remembering those who paid the ultimate sacrifice so we might live in a place where scrotes like him are free to chose what they do with their life and not have it enforced on them by the state...which includes chosing their education course...in his case he needs to catch up on his history!

I might just come and shit on your mothers grave you disrectful arsewipe!! :tosser:

People place waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much emphasis in symbolism. Yeah, climbing on an important monument isn't a great idea but I'm pretty sure these people weren't saying "f*** the war veterens". As for shitting on someones grave, I really don't see how that would affect anything.

Oh no someone climbed on the cenotaph, it's the end of civilisation as we know it.

In a way, yes it is. It shows a complete and utter lack of respect for a monument which represents and remembers the lives given by thousands of our soldiers over the years. If that kind of respect has gone, then God help us and God help you if ever you are called to give your life for your country.

I think you mioss the point...there are quite a few ex forces people on here and also people with relatives/family out in Afghanistan etc and I think the comment has hit a nerve.

He is probably wetting his pants now and giiggling like a girl how he has upset some people.

Wait till Guiness dave gets to hear about this....

"I did not realise that it was the Cenotaph..."

He needs a few more cultural university trips to London then.

Indeed, and he's a history student. He either knew what he was doing or this is another indictment on the failure of our education system to teach its people.
