I went and saw Lee Evans once at the Brighton Centre. He was on stage, but I'm not sure he noticed me.

The Deep Blue Sea
Mark Kermode at Harbour Lights Picture House in Soton, where I worked p/t at the time.

Asked him if he wanted one of our signed Exorcist BFI Classics Books (signed by him)! Oh what a card I was in those days!

Also met Penelope Wilton, Salman Rushdie, Sam West (talked about Lord Of The Rings Risk in The RSC Green Room), Nick Higham, Norman Lamont, Neil LaBute, Dickie Attenborough and Clive Owen, all during my time at The Barbican Centre....and believe me The Barbican IS a strange, if wonderful, place!

A few years later I saw him in a hotel bar in Leicester Sq and he was absolutely wasted, like could hardly stand up sort of wasted. Perhaps he has had problems with the sauce so is not getting the work....only a guess though maybe nothing of the sort

He's currently doing adverts for Morrisons so I don't think he's broke. Couldn't tell you what he does in his private life but as he's never in the tabloids I would guess he leads a pretty blameless life.

An evening with John Virgo ( Top bloke ) & Sharron Davies ( Right up her own a*se )

Ray Winstone, Nick Berry, Tod Carty @ pre pro celeb lunch at Wembley

Alan Ball presented me with a medal from the same place the FA cup is presented at the old Wembley ( walk up the steps etc ) after we lost in the final. Used to have a footy tornament there 1 day a year as FA sponsors........most pros only dream about playing at Wembley!!!!

Robson Green at cashpoint at Cobham Sainsburys

Chris Evans at FA cup pre lunch

Sir Geoff Hurst/Tony Banks at charity dinner

Andy Warhol at 'The Power Tool' nightclub in downtown L.A. Crashed into me coming in, as I sached across the floor leaving
Timothy Leary next to me in line at the local caff. on a regular basis. I watched that he didn't drop anything in me coffee, innit.
Dustin Hoffman getting in a side entrance at the World Cup Final 1994. I had to slip the gateman a $20, he didn't.
Arnold Schwartzenegger at the local gym (just started getting famous back then)
Jean-Paul Van Damme sitting outside a Starbucks on Main Street.
Slash at a bar/restaurant on Sunset after watching him jamming with Rory, and he was up himself too far to be in the slightest bit 'cool'. I mean Slash, you just played your chosen instrument with Rory Gallagher, have some humility you little turd.
Julian Lennon at a hotel on Sunset, in the bog
Herbie Hancock, same hotel - friend of a friend
Green Day, same hotel, having a larf.
David Rappaport, on his own in Hard Rock LA, there to do a series but hanging out before filming started. (he was lead in Time Bandits, and also starred in a Young Ones episode).
Cameron Diaz, not yet famous on a casting call.
Tracy Lords, already been an infamous retired porn child and trying to do 'regular' work, casting call - I took a couple of (clean) poloroids pics of her... and she was SHY! I mean, she did every deed on film, and she's shy of a poloroid camera.
Roddy McDowell, acted with him on a very bad 'c-movie' (no lines for me though). Straight to video, if even that, it was that bad. Strange because he was a big star, I'd thought.
Robin Williams in a tiny comedy club on a rainy night in SF. He apparently still did the old gig to keep sharp and stay in touch with his roots. He asked me to heckle him, but there was a 'proper' heckler in the audience already so I didn't have to bother.

'off the top of me head, like.

I met Dermott Reeve, ex England cricket-ace. Rugby World Cup Final 2003, we were both pissing in the bathroom sinks as the toilets were full. I said to him "You're Dermott Reeve" and he replied, "Yes I am" before cackling with laughter on his way out.

I also bumped into Shane Warne at Sydney Airport last week. Nice bloke

If I ever met John Virgo, I'd shove his frame winning chance right up his a**. Most irritating man alive

Ah but he did say to me "I sort of recognise her ( Davies ) who is she?". Which sort of made my evening as I had just had a conversation with her where she reeled off every lap time of practically every length she had swum in a pool. Not the most interesting conversation I have been involved in!!!!!

A certain radio presenter, a bit pissed - was taking a phone call in the door way of studio I was working in.

He refused to let me out of the studio until he had finished his call and then rudely stepped to mine side giving me smirk as I left.

I was also in the flat of a former soap star who had rented it out to my friends.

Didn't actually meet them, but felt as if I did because the star felt it appropriate to cover the walls of the flat with pictures of HERSELF.

Very wierd.

I've also met Steve Davis, when he dressed in nothing but his underpants.

Teddy Sherringham and Danielle Lloyd at Woodside Road, watching Brighton v Palace reserves a few years ago.

Teddys son Charlie was Palaces centre forward and was complete shite !!

Never realised that Teddy was a bit of a short arse either

I bumped into Teddy and Danielle Lloyd at Epsom races about three years ago and he seemed tiny standing next to her.

Justin Fashanu en route from victoria to Brighton one sunday night. We were in a first class saloon and we lit up a joint, he was intrigued and joined us back at a flat in one of the smaller squares off the seafront. He had a toke or two, did some press ups and when leaving he fell down the stairs.
A recent Albion manager in Blanche House off St. James' street, one very drunken evening, i recall mithering him about his % approach to football, he was good enough not to deck me, but ultimately i was right no matter how slaughtered i was!!!!
