Hardly a strange place.

I was in a desrted hotel lobby in Leamington Spa at 2am when I started a conversation with the chap just walking by... Desmond Dekker.

Disagree, I'd say Beaulieu is strange, Beaulieu + Rock and Roll is even stranger. Beaulieu + Backstage + Rock and Roll is MEGA strange.

and all of the above whilst talking to a (then) england manager prospect about how he'd solve the Lampard Gerrard situation over some chips with no one else about left me feeling like i was in a VERY strange place.

so neerrrr :p

Cool.

I meant finding Alan Curbishley backstage at a Who gig, especially when his BROTHER is the manager.

Many years ago actually worked on a corporate video with him and he's a real nice guy. The theme we devised was a gameshow format and he kept clips back for his portfolio. Went on to compare They thinks it's all over and so I now claim it was me that got him that gig!!!!

Oh he was a nice bloke no question. He must have been VERY bored to have been at that game but he was quite happy to talk about what he was doing work wise. I have always liked his work anyway and think it's a shame he's not doing 'They think it's all over' now.

Oasis in the Our Price shop in Dorking Pearl Jam celebrating eddie Vedders birthday in the Seven Stars pub just outside Dorking. There is a recording studio near there called FarmHouse or something.
did you see oasis on the same day shed seven played at the dorking halls, about 1999? I remember people saying they saw them, i think people thought they were going to the gig! They definetly weren't by the way.

A few years later I saw him in a hotel bar in Leicester Sq and he was absolutely wasted, like could hardly stand up sort of wasted. Perhaps he has had problems with the sauce so is not getting the work....only a guess though maybe nothing of the sort
