Brezovan is as good if not better than Kuipers was and is much more reliable with his command of the box and dealing with crosses and possibly equal on shot stopping. .

oh, come off it

do you not remember 2001? can you really see brezovan in a team as good as that one?

forgive me if i'm wrong, but was kuipers not voted as the best goalkeeper in the (this) league in 2001? i'm sure he was in the "team of the year"

We are not talking about what happened in 2001 we are talking about what will or may happen in 2010/11 season. I believe that Brezovan is now better than Kuipers as a goalkeeper for next season.

"Brezovan is as good if not better than Kuipers was "

anyway, my argument is that kuipers was part of a championship winning team........is brezovan good enough to do the same? i'm unsure

Why would Poyet want another stopper centre half when he has just let a similar type player leave in Adam Virgo. He is not a player in the Gus mould of ball playing central defenders.

Are you seriously incinuating that Adam El-Abd & Tommy Elphick are 'ball plating central defenders'? If not then I suggest you retract that comment as Poyet loves these two.
