Maybe because i'm getting older but the summer just seems to fly by now. Once the play-offs are done and dusted, it'll be time for the warm-up international matches and the World Cup. Then it's pre-season.

Oh, and Zak Whitbread and Oli Johnson, cant see either featuring next season much, and Whitbread looked good during his Milwall days, Johnson looked class when he came on at Withdean.

Doherty is one of those players that everyone thinks is OLD. Seems like he's been around yonks. But he's only just 30 I think.

Doherty is EXACTLY what we need. He is big, massive, strong and ugly. He would finally be a replacement for Butters and Tank if you are reading this Guy fit's in with the big, massive and strong bit but NOT the ugly bit!

Ask for Kandol we can and will do better and Ankergen has to be signed. Good keeper, better than Kuipers and I would say better than Brezovan or at least will provide competition.

Why would Poyet want another stopper centre half when he has just let a similar type player leave in Adam Virgo. He is not a player in the Gus mould of ball playing central defenders.

Agree with two of the above, but Ankergren is definately WORSE than Brezovan
