If there are no trains back I won't bother going.

You could always get a ride from Ernest (Ohh Arr Missis).

Walking would be a viable alternative to the Costa Express.

Seem to remember going up on the Costa express many moons ago where she arranged for a luxury coach and they sent us the West Ham team bus. Loads of space but still took forever to get there - I think we left at 5am.

Also, we nearly broke it as the police tried to send us over the mini hump backed bridge behind the ground and the coach got stuck on it.

If it is too Newcastle it is very tight making the last plane back on Saturday, pressuming you are getting the train to Carlisle from Newcastle. Although I think that was the BA flight to Gatwick from Newcastle I am talking about.

i am, but have just checked it on national rail web site and it very tight in time afer the game, if you was to fligh with ba you cant get up there on the sat before the game so that would mean flighing up on frigay nite and coming bk sunday afternoon

It is possible to do Easyjet from Gatwick to Edinburgh and back on the day, but we decided against this as the state we are generally in would mean no flight home and we are not sure you can hang a 12' by 9' St Georges Cross from the side of the aircraft...
