Actually I don't think it needs improving. It doesn't take long to glance at the thread titles and ignore the ones that don't appeal or are likely to offend.

Well, I would go for a stronger moderation.

I like NSC being one "big board" but feel some needless, pointless threads should go.

Such as the "person above you's [insert random]" etc

Although some people enjoy that.

I think that is what this is, a seperate footy forum, and as there is so little footy chat in here anyway what is everyones problem with it?

The argument used to be "Why should someone pay for/moderate a bunch of crap in a seperate/off-topic forum?" - but that's happening anyway.

The thing is, it's only ten or so people ruining this board (again). They think they're funny/amusing/entertaining - the vast majority think they're not.

I would remind people every so often that it's the many different kinds of people who come on here that makes NSC what it is. Old, young; male, female; high IQ, low IQ; people who go clubbing, people who like a night in front of the telly.

We're all Albion fans. Just think about others occasionally when you post.

Its easy to say that Lush but sometimes it gets a bit crazy like today and last friday from what i heard. If it is a case of a few (not sure if i'm considered one of them or not) ruining it for all then shouldn't they be told?

Good post Lush. NSC just reflects the relationships we have with other people in life, we just have to learn to cope with different characters. Most posters who start off being a bit self centred usually end up being more constructive in their posts after a while.

There are the odd exceptions to this rule though, no names being mentioned.

OK - what's happened today? Just catching up...

I thought we'd done the "can we all be a bit more considerate about each other" a few weeks back. If people are starting to ruin it for the majority, I have no problems with invoking the warnings and bannings as and when required.

Sounds like I'm missing out on all the fun now I'm a working man again. Hope people aren't being too rude to each other, as that is a tad childish. If anyone is crossing the line then the mods need to have a quiet word initially, then take further action if required.

The whole separate forum issue has been done to death over the past several months, and there has probably been enough threads started to create it's OWN forum with. But the general consensus I get from reading what people have posted is they like NSC as it is. I for one like the fact that I don't have to continually swap forums to find a thread to entertain me, it makes this board quite accessible.

Whatever or whoever posts there needs to be some respect. If we are getting posters who have none then get the carded and removed.

What about a link to the BNP website for the worrying increasing ammount of racist posters and the rest of us can us can get on with the football. Its been a sad day for NSC today and Friday. I never knew we had so many bigots in this forum. The raciscm thread and the one that got removed on Fri bough them all out from under the carpet.

I think you're all looking at this from the wrong angle. We don't need separate forums for different topics but for different posters.

Bring back the Big Brother forum, NSC was brilliant while that was in effect.
