as long as you can buy ps3 or xbox stuff in the shops they're still in business. and that will do for me.
Skyrim... £10? Its only been out for 12 days. Mass effect is a good shout though, you should be able to download ME1, possibly ME2 as well via Xbox live Games on Demand, so no need to go for a wander. Both very good. I'd recommend them, especially as ME3 is due out in March.
Just get SKYRIM, it will keep you busy. Fantastic game.
Definitely COD MW3, FIFA 12. Halo is good as is forza for racing. Heard battlefield 3 is very good too.
I got skyrim today, spent 3 hours on it today and it seems like a massive game, soooo much to do in it, I'm trying to get the hang of combat, I only have a sword so far and keep missing when I swing at people and end up getting killed
Im also struggling to find where I'm supposed to be going, don't get the compass up the top fully yet.
This 4 axis walking/looking where you going is tricky for me, that's hard enough to co-ordinate yet along trying to draw the sword and swing at someone, I need more fingers and keep hitting the menu button in a panic by accident.
Gonna take me a long time to get used to the modern complexities of gaming nowadays...
Yeah it's a bit daunting ain't it, especially to an RPG novice like myself, I only tried it quick until the kids got in so I just got out of them caves/tunnels & into skyrim (I think) lol.
Didn't you pick up that massive long sword or the shield ?
Hi all,
I have an xbox 360 that has been sitting dormant for nearly a year now, and as I've just ripped some tendons in my foot I'm stranded on the sofa for a few days if not weeks.
I'm 2 hours into sitting and I'm already bored and was thinking about firing up the xbox and buying some new games to pass the time.
Here is the problem, I haven't been a regular gamer for years and the choice of games is staggering
I used to have a ps2 years ago in my late teens but then started working and discovered beer, clubs and girls, and left gaming to the kids..... I'm now 33 and haven't played for years, the missus bought me the xbox for Xmas a few years ago but it hasn't really been touched (apart from lego Batman)
I've usually played simulation games such as forza motorsport, project gotham racing, tiger woods golf etc etc but am thinking about changing into others
Cod mw3 everyone is raving about, is it easy to play? I fear the controls are complicated and will take so long to master ill get pissed off before I really start it..
Or are other games such as fable 2 or skyrim worth a shot? They seem quite appealing to me...
Just after some suggestions really, I feel like I'm gonna go stir crazy just watching tv but don't want to waste 40 quid on a game that'll just piss me off after an hour.....
Got the sword, must've missed the shield
I've followed that bloke to a village, met some other bloke, gone to have a chat with a "jarl" and am currently lost trying to get somewhere to do the next bit, I broke my last lock pick trying to escape from jail too, (i was only in jail cos I tried to pick pocket what turned out to be a guard at whiterun)
There seems to be hundreds of quests to complete, I fear I may lose the next few days, possibly weeks playing this...most important at the minute is get better at fighting and blocking..
Get Battlefield 3 its brilliant, bigger maps than COD and much better mulyiplayer as more of a team game.
Ah I think you're further than me, I gotta wait for the littlens to go to bed before I can get my teeth into it, Definatly try & find a shield though.... I noticed a few body's I looted had them
