Sake, why turn a perfectly decent thread into an Xbox vs PS3 binfest? Xbox users prefer Xbox's and PS3 users prefer PS3's, we get it. Move on!

xbox's are for proper goons! gameplay, bluray, iplayer, itv player, 4oD, free online play. the playstation 3 - the better all round console...

Also, does the PS3 have Sky Player like Xbox? Genuine question as don't know.

The playstation network is wonderful. I've personally never had any problems. Can always get an opponent when playing FIFA. My brother however struggles on his Xbox. Bit naughty of Microsoft as they make you pay as well.

What the f*** is sky player? I have a sky HD box, The best thing sky offer.

I'm so glad you haven't had any problems. Shame about all those people whose accounts were hacked by gangsters though, eh? Properly embarrassing.

It costs because it's FAR better. Again, according to unbiased reviews across the board.

Sky Player means I can watch Sky Sports 1,2,3 etc LIVE and hundreds of movies, no need for a Sky box, that's back at my parents house 20 miles away :-D

And my god is it a BIG game, this is gonna take me years and years.

Been wandering around for ages, now heading for whiterun to meet a "jarl" got killed by a wolf so started again, got past the wolf, tried my first pick pocket on some bloke and he killed me so I'm trying again...

im joking pal. i've owned an xbox in the past but wanted blu ray so opted to get a ps3 and gave the xbox to the brother. i personally don't think theres anything between them but then i'm no gaming expert. i like to play a few games of fifa and thats it in the gaming world.

i don't think xbox live is better or worse than PSN but then i've probably not used either one to their full potential so i can't really compare them properly.

that sky player does sound decent from what your telling me. but someone has to have sky i take it for you to get it cheap/free?

i have to pay the full amount anyway for sky so sky player wouldnt really affect my life in too many ways.

bit of an old article that. the beauty with credit cards is you don't need to worry as much. and on that note i got a new one this month! so the details PSN have are expired anyway.

lol chill out see above i've already said i was joking. i've looked through sky go on my laptop for films. safe to say sky's back catalog on demand is shit anyway... sorry about that.

Both skyrim and Mass effect 2 will keep you occupied for ages. Bioshock and ME2 should both be available for around £10 each which is a bargain as they are both top games.

Skyrim... £10? Its only been out for 12 days. Mass effect is a good shout though, you should be able to download ME1, possibly ME2 as well via Xbox live Games on Demand, so no need to go for a wander. Both very good. I'd recommend them, especially as ME3 is due out in March.

As I understand it, if you connect it to a sky broadband router it can through Anytime+ - everything you can get on sky player or sky go you can get through Anytime+.
