Thankfully we didn't have the same approach with Glenn Murray. Or is it only players that are allowed to further their careers and be welcomed back (even after going to Palace and scoring loads of goals against us)?f*** him. He made his choice.

I used to leave a fox in charge of our chickens. And convicts to join the Police
Life’s too long not tooLife's too short to hold grudges
Murray was forced out and didn’t want to leave, he’s said this multiple times. It’s an entirely different story. Ben White, Bissouma and the majority of ex players and managers who have left the club don’t get pelters. They left the right way, not the same as Cucurella, Potter, Bruno et al getting a sniff of more money and running off mid-contract to a project that’s doomed to fail.Thankfully we didn't have the same approach with Glenn Murray. If the new manager did not require an existing member of staff then they wouldTotally out of order but would the club have said " cheers Bruno ,but you are surplus to requirements"?
I don't think we work like that.
He wasn’t forced out, he just didn’t get the salary he thought he deserved when we got promotedMurray was forced out and didn’t want to leave, he’s said this multiple times. Murray was offered a new contract but wanted more money than was on offer. The club didn't make a second offer so he went to Palace for more money than we were offering.Murray was forced out and didn’t want to leave, he’s said this multiple times. Salary we spent on CMS, forcing him out. His requests weren’t excessive and far lower than we ended up paying CMS.He wasn’t forced out, he just didn’t get the salary he thought he deserved when we got promoted
Dean Hammond came back too.Thankfully we didn't have the same approach with Glenn Murray. Or is it only players that are allowed to further their careers and be welcomed back (even after going to Palace and scoring loads of goals against us)?
Partly Ken Browns fault. We could have kept both but the way they did the budgets was very inflexible. Plus Gus didn’t really bust a gut to keep himSalary we spent on CMS, forcing him out. His requests weren’t excessive and far lower than we ended up paying CMS.
Very much this!It was beautiful while it lasted but he jumped ship at a time when our club was being ripped apart.
I'm not as naive as others who believe his lies that he left because he thought he wouldn't have a job here. Apologist nonsense from a money grabbing Chelsea whore.
He burnt his bridges, let him live with it.
Did we have to egg Hammond on? Sorry.Dean Hammond came back too.
I was under the impression he was offered far less than new signing CMS, I can understand him saying “f*** that” if soHe wasn’t forced out, he just didn’t get the salary he thought he deserved when we got promoted
He wouldn't have known because he'd already signed for Palace.I was under the impression he was offered far less than new signing CMS, I can understand him saying “f*** that” if so
I really doubt he didn’t have a good idea that CMS had been offered a much higher salary than him, but who knows for sure. It was a month before that he left so you may be right though. He wouldn't have known because he'd already signed for Palace.
