Massa and Webber really need to just give up! Theyve spent more times skidding than anything else!

Both had very bad days in the office, Webber right from the start where he was totally trumped by Hamilton.

F1 fans if you wanna see an F1 car scream around Brands Hatch for less than £30 (compared to Silverstone £100+ prices) then get your arses there on the 27th of this month..will be a special demo to coincide with the WTCC event

How come the practice rounds are won by about a couple of thousandth of a second, and in the race itself the winner is over a MINUTE ahead? Me no understand :dunce:

Maybe because the qualifying times are for ONE lap where everyone is at their fastest, whereas the race is over SIXTY (plus pit stops, bad weather spells, poor team decisions etc which slow certain drivers down)?!

Ah, right. Combination of skill, luck and tactics then. Even so, a MINUTE's lead? ???

That's only a second a lap on average though. Take todays race for example. At times, drivers on the tyres suiting the weather were lapping 8 seconds faster than others. Throw in those who take more pit stops than others for whatever reason. Plus, of course, remember that in qualifying each driver has a clear run on the track and achieves their personal best. That's never going to happen in the race, as it's obviously a lot harder to drive at your fastest with cars in front and behind you. It's why the race leader always builds up quite a lead after the first corner, and why the field spreads so dramatically. Yeah, it's a combination of LOADS of things, but probably exaggerated today because of the weather.

Ah! Me understand now!

The first British driver to win The British grand prix since David Coulthard in 2000.
Surely, He's Scottish ? especially as this season he is useless, as witnessed today ?
