Why, how many Shakhtar and Sassuolo players has RDZ signed here?I’m more worried about who RDZ might want to take with him if he goes. Fortunately Barca will be too skint to buy players after they shell out for the boss.

RDZ’s won nothing of significance and I worry that his brand of football won’t yield a consistency that will win trophies. I’d be surprised if a top club came just now but I’m sure TB and the Barber can lure a great replacement no sweat.
He’s an almost certain candidate should Roberto go.Just googled Francesco Farioli (Nice manager) Only 34 but worked with RDZ at Sassuolo and Benevento and funny enough has his 2nd placed team playing exactly in the same manor as Brighton. Yes I know its the French league but looks a promising prospect. He could even be a DeZerbi double. I may have a 20 notes on this one!
See Potter take 2.The most annoying thing would be if he went to Barca and they chewed him up and spat him out within a year (eminently possible).
we would’ve lost a brilliant manager for basically f*** all reason.
....
Edit. Also, the idea of our manager leaving for Barcelona is f***ing nuts. ...
Do non-league players and managers never leave for bigger clubs then?Yep. Does push me towards non-league, all of this. What is the point.
True. Why, how many Shakhtar and Sassuolo players has RDZ signed here?
Whilst this is true, just because we haven’t signed any of his former player players it doesn’t mean RDZ didn’t want any. Why, how many Shakhtar and Sassuolo players has RDZ signed here?
"Without being screwed over"Yeah, they do. What I meant is they shouldn't dig their heels in too much if RDZ has made it clear he wants to go, but Barca can't/won't pay the full amount. Without being screwed over, obvs.
What you would like to see the best manager in our history leave , great fan you areIt's all rather exciting. I love it when a manager leaves so we can gush who our next manager will be, betting odds and the final shortlist etc you know the drill.
He won that nice Italian award, Best Boy manager or something.RDZ’s won nothing of significance and I worry that his brand of football won’t yield a consistency that will win trophies. I’d be surprised if a top club came just now but I’m sure TB and the Barber can lure a great replacement no sweat.
"Without being screwed over"
I.e. pay up the release clause, or no dice.
IMO we can't encourage a situation where the agreed release fees for players or staff mean nothing just because the player/staff member really wants to go because the suitor club's status.
Shall we let them have Mitoma for £15m while we're at it, just because it's Barcelona and they are skint?
Madness!
£10m (or whatever it is) for RdZ isn't a huge amount in the context of football and particularly Barca. They can just sell off more future revenue to cook the books if the REALLY want him.
RdZ would have a hissy fit if he really wanted a player whose release clause was reasonable and the club wouldn't pay it. He wouldn't blame the selling club.
What if we can't sign the best manager in our history until RDZ leaves! What you would like to see the best manager in our history leave , great fan you are
