Would you have the same attitude if it was Chelsea and they couldn’t pay the full amount of compensation because of their FFP limits? Daft attitude to have.This is my point. Hypothetically, if RDZ really wanted to go (understandably) but Barca couldn't/wouldn't pay the full amount, it would be better for the Albion (IMO) to come to some agreement, rather than having a manager who feels resentment because he couldn't get his dream move. That's all I'm saying. I don't think it's right, or fair, just thinking that the team *could* suffer with a moody Roberto around.
It's a bit of a stretch to go from negotiating on a manager to selling a star player for a massive discount!
