Just googled Francesco Farioli (Nice manager) Only 34 but worked with RDZ at Sassuolo and Benevento and funny enough has his 2nd placed team playing exactly in the same manor as Brighton. Yes I know its the French league but looks a promising prospect. He could even be a DeZerbi double. I may have a 20 notes on this one!
People putting 2+2 together and getting 5 with this one. I'm sure bloom has 3/4 other candidates ahead of this guy that we probably haven't heard of

If RDZ goes at the end of the season he’s getting a massive BOOOOO from me.

Potter gave us three seasons and when he left he got pelters partly because he also took all the back room staff.

If RDZ leaves in the summer he won’t have even done two seasons and will also likely take all the back room staff

Would be disappointing is we seem to have double standards. Potter gave us nearly twice as long as RDZ will have.
If this story is all true, then RDZ would be MAD to turn down Barcelona. And, maybe controversially, I think the club would be wrong to try and stop him because of any issues around the compo. Again, if there's any truth in it, Roberto's head has been turned and he won't be the same for the Albion if he stayed. Could do more harm than good.

Palace new manager was 100% on our ‘admired’ list I reckon

If RDZ leaves in the summer I'd steer well clear of Potter as a replacement.

Russell Martin (I just read on wiki he's from Brighton) or Kieran McKenna would be my picks.

Don’t the Albion allow anyone to leave, if the right compensation is agreed?

Yeah, they do. What I meant is they shouldn't dig their heels in too much if RDZ has made it clear he wants to go, but Barca can't/won't pay the full amount. Without being screwed over, obvs.

All guesswork by us of course …. imho they wouldn’t stand in his way.

I’m more worried about who RDZ might want to take with him if he goes. Fortunately Barca will be too skint to buy players after they shell out for the boss.

Think everyone needs to chill out. I’ve seen one report on Twitter from a bloke with 70k followers. It might happen, it might not.

I’d be surprised if Barca could find enough space in the budget to afford his compensation and afford to fund his vision. But I may be wrong. What a ride and what a man if I am.

If he’s going to go, will be much happier if it’s somewhere abroad than in this country. Can’t really hold it against RDZ if a club of Barcelona’s stature comes calling but if they won’t pay the money, tell them to f*** off. £10m? It’s small change compared to players’ wages.
Exactly. He's contracted to us. If he wants to go elsewhere and some other club (eg Barca) want him, they need to pay the going rate.

i actually don’t care anymore. there’s nothing we can do at any level to keep anyone, whether they move for money or prestige, whether it’s our main man or just a back room staff member. what’s annoying is how we barely get a year out of any of these people. zero chance of us getting any success ever if the foundations have to be ripped out every twelve months or so. that never seems to happen to other clubs.

get it over with, let RDZ go in the summer and get Knutsen in, or Edwards if luton go down
Yep. Does push me towards non-league, all of this. What is the point.
