My Spurs mate earlier said they are a glass cannon. Spot on.

Obviously none of these people should be allowed anywhere near small children or any sharp objects. And watching this is the modern equivalent of that Victorian pastime of going to watch the “antics” of the poor inmates of Bedlam for entertainment. But MAN, such fun. Superb stuff.

Joe Hart (who knew he’d make such a good pundit?! Some really good insight) summed it up perfectly on MOTD2. We were basically a yard off the whole time, right down to the goalkeeping.
Likewise - I've been really impressed by Joe Hart. An ex-player who really does give fascinating insight....unlike probably 90% of them, who seem to have less insight than me!

Shay Given is also quite good. Maybe it's because goalie thing as they spend most of the game watching the game in front of them and can see the positioning and movement of players.
The other 10 are too involved to see the big picture.

And maybe repeatedly heading a football isn’t great for the little grey cells either

It did

No we’re not, even if we’d lost today

You missed an amazing second half

And this is only a handful of the more embarrassing posts, Mackenzie excluded.

Well done on making it on the wall of shame
Did you actually watch the first half?

So we weren't "defensively all at sea".?

What is embarrassing imho is going through a lot of genuinely upset fans who'd witnessed a terrible first half and digging them out for a "look at me" post, with the gift of hindsight.

Are you going to share last weeks lotto numbers too for those that didnt win!

We were equally as shit defensively in first half as we were fantastic going forward in second.

There is no contradiction.

Hurzeler taking off Ferdi was spot on and changed game 👏

Every Spurs fan will have exact opposite arguments as ours, how sensational they were in first half and how shit defensively they were in second, and theyd be right too, though I doubt their first half comments will be dug out as embarrassing?

As classic a game of 2 halves as you'll ever see.

Does this mean we aren’t getting relegated now? It’s hard to keep up

I didn’t realise the half time rule, as a couple of people politely pointed out. But well done for doing the decent thing by answering a genuine question with sarcasm.

I also didn't know the half time rule, but the reason I answered the question with sarcasm was because I misread it. I thought you said "I thought you could only make 3 subs in a game?"

I wondered how you could have got this far and thought it was still only 3 (as we all know it's 5). I then got even more confused when US seagull said that the subs at half time didn't count!

I take full responsibility for any feelings that have been hurt during this saga.

For sure but how often are they talking about football and how often sensationalist bullshit?

Yeah some of them sure do talk a lot of nonsense. I guess it's a hard skill to get your analysis spot on straight after a game, even for someone who knows the game well.

Well, I'm allowing for the fact that some great players just happened to be gifted with the ball at their feet, but didn't really know what was going on. Most pundits talk a fair amount of nonsense, but some speak nothing but crap, despite having been good footballers. That said I do think the broadcasters (obviously I don't include ITV in this) are improving their setup to help pundits analyse a game.
