I agree about the need for clarity for a referee to end the game. I'm not sure why the rugby rules don't apply. The match should only be halted after the time is played and when the ball goes out of play. The onus then being on any losing side to keep it in play. The above video is just nuts. No wonder the players were so snakey about it.

Fulham also had an extra minute of play from somewhere after we scored so they can’t say he was giving us extra time.

Ball was in 6 yard box and Webster rolled it with the sole of his foot and the ball clearly moved he the played it again which can’t be done.The ref or linesman obviously didn’t see it so he got away with it
