Do have to say though, that Bassey for them is a hell of a player
We nearly signed him I believe, or at least he was heavily linked when he was at Rangers. Everyone just bounced off him, it was hilarious.

They can keep Issa Diop…

Oh give it a rest! 'Jogging' my a***! You've been on and on about him since we kicked off. Has he shagged your missus or something?

I agree with @Mike Small. Ayari eventually started sprinting, but it was too late. When Iwobi first got the ball, Ayari had a couple of yards on him, and could have blocked his run if he tried. I guess he didn't realise the danger, because he didn't sprint until it was too late.

Do we think Weiffer has made up for the two points he cost us v Wolves?
Nope. For the simple reason that Wieffer didn't cost us two points against Wolves. Scapegoating is all the rage these days, but football is a team game with multiple actions and decisions, and to highlight one is just plain daft in my view. Other views are available.

Yep we wanted him before Ajax nabbed him. He was very close to signing for us.

He was woeful at Ajax. Has been a lot better recently. Very skillful , great distribution. But not the best defender, what the hell was he doing when JPVH got the goal, dreadful defending.

Being blocked out by a very smart teenager it turns out!

Without doubt plenty more than usual were still there.

My route back to the coach park from the north shelf normally involves a drop down to the NW corner lower then internally via the west lower concourse to grab a beer to nurse for the 30 min coach departure time.

Unusually today post full time there wasn’t an obvious near empty row to walk along as plenty stayed to celebrate and cheer the team off

Great to see
Obvious from this clip that the stands were way more full than usual at the end

'Has he shagged your missus or something?' Hehe top Wetherspoon Bantz GT69er.

Watch it again - he's jogging. He could have blocked Iwobi running down the wing. He's not defending, then looking at the defenders to bail him out.

He's made great progress this year but imo Gomez and Weiffer are far more dominant and better centre midfielders than him. No surprise we looked stronger when Gomez came on. Ayari was a bit of a passenger against strong Fulham team. And before anyone says it, that was a Hinshelwood deserves more of an assist for blocking Bassey.

Weatherspoon Bantz?
I think I have their debit single on vinyl.

"I only asked for a soapy tit-wank, and she hit me"

It isn't very good.
