Starting to sound like Leeds fans talking about Ben White at Brighton tbf. We don’t know why Arteta hasn’t played him. Perhaps he’s not been training well. We seem to have the reverse issue, according to the boss everyone is ****ing great during the training sessions

its about opportunity for young players, sure AMN gets the odd game at Arsenal, but even rarer are opportunities at Centre Mid his favoured position.

Arsenal need rebuilding, and dont exactly have a generous owner. They will need to free up cash by offloading fringe players.

Lamptey was big for us, not has he been a huge success lots of very good young players saw he got an opportunity here. If we choose wisely and I think we will, the club have engineered a great opportunity to sign some very good young players.

I'm sure it must have happened with plenty of other clubs who are in the Albion's situation, getting a Lamptey type player, but I just can't think of any.


There's been so much positivity generated by Lamptey's transfer, thanks mainly to his performances, I don't see why players would stay at top 6 wannabes.

It’s a pleasant change to buy who we want early doors, assess what we have and offload the unwanteds to the championship teams and newcomers. Leeds are probably waiting for our cast offs.
