Couldn't consistently get into the worst Arsenal team for 30 years despite them spending much of the season looking like a pub team. Do not want.

Or he's a young player (22 years old) who played 20 times in the Premier League for the a team that got 15 more points than us this season.

Jeez you were ambitious
if you started that chant in the first minute by the time you got to the bach the stadium would have been empty
Us north standers would have it all done and dusted a minute after kick off.

If the lad has any ambition he’ll realise after we took 6 points of a noddy outfit like Arsenal this season it’s time to move onto a bigger club.

Would be interested to see how this goes. Wants to play in Midfield not as a defender where most of his time in an arsenal shirt has been spent. Come through and was making a good impression, seems to have fallen away and Saka taking a lot of the attention away. Cant imagine Arsenal will let him go on the cheap.

Do you not remember Forbes Phillipson Masters ? Challenged a Panini album!

Blimey, sounds like a University Challenge finalist! I remember Mahoney-Johnson, he could have been shortened to ‘Pony’ for anyone insane enough to want his name on their shirt though.

Neither could Ozil - a world cup winner with nearly 100 German caps!

(I'm not saying we should bid for Ozil BTW, I'm just saying that there are strange goings on at Arsenal and not being able to get into that team should not be the sole criterion)

Lamptey was big for us, not has he been a huge success lots of very good young players saw he got an opportunity here. If we choose wisely and I think we will, the club have engineered a great opportunity to sign some very good young players.

He played as a Defensive Midfielder in the 2 games Arsenal played against Potter's Ostersunds in the Europa League.

Maybe Potter was impressed back then and made a mental note of him as a player in that position ? ???

These aren't the players you're looking for.

Here's a link to an early BT Sport interview he did back in Feb 2018, says his preferred position is CM.

Seems like a decent guy.

Just needs to settle on a position and get a run in a side in that position.

..... ahead of Alzate, Bissouma, Lallana, hopefully Molumby, plus whoever's still around out of Stephens, Gross, Propper and Mooy. And MacAllister and Trossard if he's looking to play AM.

Can't see him starting every match ..............

Thanks for ruining the rest of my day.
Mahoney ****ing Johnson.... he sole contribution was to stand in the centre circle looking a complete ****. At a time of woeful football, and woeful footballers he was by far the worse. It was bad enough being at Gillingham without this abomination. He made the rest of the team look like footballing gods.

Absolute non-story. What planet do people live on? Very much part of Arteta’s plans.

If so, he has a funny way of showing it.

He played the full 90 minutes in Arteta's first 9 PL games, but then didn't play a single minute in the next 5, leading up to lockdown.

Apart from the 90 minutes AM-N played on the final day, he only played a total of 82 minutes in Arsenal's other 9 post-lockdown games.
