It wasn't any of us who voted for a border in the Irish Sea and the break up your precious Union

A deal whereby we keep absolute control of our fishing waters and get tariff free access to the EU market (including services, the bit that's over 80% of our GDP) whilst not being bound by the EU's rules and regulations (ie not a vassal state) would be absolutely delightful and I would be singing it's praises to the rafters.

So now, it's either a South Korean or a Nigerian to run the WTO who are based in Geneva, Switzerland.

So what if the last two candidates are a Nigerian and a South Korean. Perhaps they are the last two because they have the best CV.

The Director General doesn’t “run” the WTO as you seem to have imagined. The role has little power over policy as its mainly advisory. The WTO is a forum, it is run by its member governments. It is the membership that makes the major WTO decisions. Representative ministers, delegates and ambassadors agree by consensus and the agreements are ratified in member parliaments.

So when you ask who elects the WTO

Who elects the WTO and why will we have to obey their rules to be able to trade in the world.

It is a daft question. You clearly don’t understand the WTO is a forum for facilitating trade and resolving trade differences and not a government.

Don’t forget only a few weeks ago World Wat Z also predicted Boris would fold and would negotiate us to have BRINO for the new relationship when the transition expires, ie members of the single market and members of the EU customs union. Imagine actually believing that…..snigger.
