After 4 years of people here and other platforms pointing out the real liklihood that it was going to be a big problem, nobody should be shocked

Be fair, when you've spent four years burying your head in the sand and dismissing every negative story and headline as "Project Fear" it must come as a bit of a shock when it turns out they were right and you were wrong.

Sounds like it's time to move to NI. They have wangled a cracking deal with the EU.

i.e. the position we were in prior to 31st January 2020 - in single UK and single EU market.

Further indicators in PMQs today that it's going to be No Deal - Boris looking a mess but sounding surprisingly upbeat when talking about freeports and low taxation.

Speaking of Ports, has the money for the expansions been allocated yet, I'm no expert but any 'expansions' should get underway sharpish

Indeed. Didn't actually answer any of the difficult questions as such (eg where are the 50,000 extra customs staff?) but looked full of gung-ho. How jolly this all is, whilst Tesco begins to stockpile food in case of a no-deal.

That 'easiest deal in history' misquote certainly seems a tad naive but when you look at what was actually said ..

Coming to a free trade agreement with the EU should be "one of the easiest in human history" because our rules and laws are already the same, the international trade secretary has said.

Liam Fox is to set out his vision of the UK's trading relationship with the rest of the world after Brexit.

"The only reason we wouldn't come to a free and open agreement is because politics gets in the way of economics," Dr Fox told the Today programme.

... it is actually a reasonable point.

The rules and regulations are in place that we don't want to follow ?

It did make me wonder why he's off to Brussels for dinner.

You clearly haven't seen the scrumptious menu:

Fish Stew, Humble Pie, Eton Mess, Hard cheese and Sour Grapes, Port (Closed) and Cigars (Close But No).
