Have you thought that if you got some friends, a job, a relationship (one step at a time obviously ) then you might not have to spend every waking hour on here, under your various accounts ?

Just trying to help

(PS. You haven't thumbed up any of my posts this morning  Maybe this one eh ?)

:bigwave:

Whilst I agree you don’t have to search for bad news regarding Brexit, I do want to take you to task on your rather offensive & lazy use of the word “Jihadhis”, a man of your age should be a little wiser than that, otherwise do carry on!

“Jihadism (also known as jihadist movement, jihadi movement, and variants) is a 21st-century neologism found in Western languages to describe militant Islamic movements perceived "existentially threatening" to the West, and "rooted in political Islam".

You think I give a shit about your sensitivity? I will thank you for allowing me to carry on.

I'm not. What I said, quite clearly, was that by living the past and moaning eats away at the individual concerned. Yep?

Nowt to do with a third party.

Nope.
Wrong again... and sorry if that comment is upsetting/annoying to you.
What makes you think that anyone here is living in the past.
Now is all there is.... again sorry if that response upsets you.

This is apparently the main sticking point.

Merkel said the main stumbling block in the negotiations in Brussels was the EU’s request for an “evolution clause”, or “ratchet clause” as Downing Street has described it. Such a clause would establish a mechanism to ensure that as one side raises their environmental, labour and social standards, the other is not able to sit tight and enjoy a competitive advantage.

Why would this be a problem for us Great Britains? We always have far superior standards compared to the EU's minimum standards. Surely this would mean that the EU have to up their game to match our standards?

Surely the Government isn't planning on cutting our own safety standards? Is that what Brexiters voted for?
