Even when Biden defeats Trump, he will be unable to pass legislation on key issues such as healthcare, immigration and climate change unless the Democrats simultaneously seize the Senate, where the Republicans held a 47-53 majority.

Watched the Biden and Harris victory speeches in full last night with a strong emphasis on uniting with 48 / 52 together

Pity the Tories didn't do that in 2016 after our 48/52 vote, if they had we might be in a very different place now
